read 2 books in like 5days!?! Amazed? Don't be. When you had as much 'free time' as me, I think you would have fared much better.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen:
I had this book for about 2-3 years & read only 1 chapter previously. (oh.. did I mention that the first chapter is only 3pages long? oops.) It's not that the book is boring. It's just me -- the absolute procastinator at work ):

Think everyone knows the story so I shall skip the comment. Basically, it's about how a young man changes his manners & the lady her mind.

Now I want to watch the movie.

At First Sight by Nicholas Sparks:
I always wanted to read his books, but somehow I never did. Anyway, this is the first one. I liked his style (at least in this book). There was a deja vu~ness in certain parts of the book.

Reading a book can hardly engage me. It's just difficult for me to get into a book. I think the only other time was when Iola Morton was blown up in a car explosion leaving Joe Hardy distraught and perhaps guilty. (ya I used to read The Hardy Boys.. so sue me)

This time I found myself going 'NO!! This can't be happening' & stopped reading for a while as if by not continuing, I can change the story. Well, perhaps I am giving myself a breather. Went back to the story and begin the search of WHY?

When you're prepared for the worst and can only hope for the best. Then better-than-best came the ending. Yet, the ending is not the ending. When it seem that all the anxiety had come to a nought and happiness is just a fraction away, your world comes crashing down. POOM!

In context of the book:

"While there were times when he wished he could roll back the clock and erase all the sadness, he had a hunch that if he did so, the joy would be diminished as well."

Yes, it is possible for love at first sight.

How much do I love this book?
More than the fish in the sea and higher than the moon ;)

Heh I thought it sounded so cheesy the first time but when it was mentioned a second time, I was touched.

I thought alot after closing this book. Felt like when Jeremy finally had his mental block removed. It's not like I have not been thinking. This time, the thoughts just keep coming. Neither delibrate nor by my own conscious efforts.

Woah! Never thought that books can revved me up like this. Afterall, I am more a action-feel human than a word-feel person.

it's okay if you can't see the road ahead, just make sure God is still in sight!!

In His time, in His time,
He makes all things beautful in His time.
Lord, please show me every day,
As You're teaching me Your way,
That You do just what You say, in Your time.
In Your time, in Your time,
You make all things beautiful in Your time.
Lord, my life to You I bring.
May each song I have to sing
Be to You a lovely thing, in Your time.
