Anonymous: which pink do you think is nicer?

I told her my choice.
She seemed unconvinced & turned around and asked her young son. (about 4 years old)
His choice is the same as mine.
*beams*

Still, she hestitated which one to choose. Finally, she went with our choice. Moments later, she changed her mind.

"Hmm.. still thinking"
"Erhm but even your son say this one is nicer"
"Aiyah, he's still so young.. anyway I still like this pink better "
(Orh that means being young one doesn't know what's nice?!?)

Nice one. It's good to know what you like and to stick with your choice but definitely not at the expense of asking for fun & insulting another. Or maybe (as I have read from somewhere) most of the time, women already know what they want.. they just need a same second opinion for certainty.

Moreover, I think a child's taste is more discerning since he doesn't take into consideration the practical reasons. ( If you go shopping with someone a generation older & pick something white.. chances are they will tell you that white will get dirty easily & ask you to pick another color, preferably black,etc.)

arGH!! really hate it when people ask for opinion or participation (as if they value it) & then ignore the answer or the absence (as if it doesn't matter).. may I ask, what's the point of asking then?
