'Do you know what day is this comin' Sunday?' 'I know! It's mother's Day.' 'Wah! So smart. How you know?' 'I know because that's the day I'll go bankrupt..'
hmm kids do say the darnest thing. Hey! But no one's complaining
Why don't adults say such stuffs? (They were once kids, right?) Is it because of the fear of embarrasment/being seen as ignorant/not being sensible enough or just because of that word maturity? It can be both or neither. Rather, it is the experiences we have been through that shaped us up (with regards to our behaviour, the kind of words we say or don't say, our expectations and temperaments).
I vaguely remember some teacher telling us to express ourselves and that we can write down our feelings (or along the likes of these). When I did these, what I received were confidence busters. Okay, I can't continue anymore. Actually I typed out 2 incidents about this but I decided to delete them. Afterall, I'm really a private person (shaped by my childhood or is it innate?).
The moral of the story: Don't have feelings. My moral of the story: Don't let people know your feelings.
it's okay if you can't see the road ahead, just make sure God is still in sight!!
In His time, in His time,
He makes all things beautful in His time.
Lord, please show me every day,
As You're teaching me Your way,
That You do just what You say, in Your time.
In Your time, in Your time,
You make all things beautiful in Your time.
Lord, my life to You I bring.
May each song I have to sing
Be to You a lovely thing, in Your time.
