So, I hit the big two-O today, like right at this time.
Let's go back awhile in history to the origin of my name since all names in the Bible mean something significant, with a story to tell. I do want to know what's mine..
Here's what I got from googling: - French name - There's a small river in France called the Yvette - Female form of 'Yves' (meaning: yew tree) - Meaning: archer
How about the yvette writing this? While my name is Yvette, don't try to define me the person. Things are always seen in perspective, on a relative scale. Since things done before are no longer being carried out, somewhere feelings must have change or vice-versa.. right? Likewise, characteristic and personality are always on a continuum, depending on the situational factors and interaction of elements. No one, I dare say, is a total introvert. If they do appear so, they just haven't found their place.
So, why shape people to stereotypes? Similarly, statuses, titles and qualifications doesn't say much about anyone either.. that includes age. Today I'm older than yesterday, perhaps I have gone through more experiences than last year, but I'm still me. Nicknames/baptised names are probably more apt to know someone if you insist. What's my story? Nothing you can know from my name because I want to live it out according to God's way and pray that I already am
it's okay if you can't see the road ahead, just make sure God is still in sight!!
In His time, in His time,
He makes all things beautful in His time.
Lord, please show me every day,
As You're teaching me Your way,
That You do just what You say, in Your time.
In Your time, in Your time,
You make all things beautiful in Your time.
Lord, my life to You I bring.
May each song I have to sing
Be to You a lovely thing, in Your time.
