Some people at Tuas have already finished their exams and here I am only in my study week (I am not even mentioning the early birds in the city area).. Still left with a final paper due tml. Yes.. Finally the last one!! From 9 deadlines to 1 all within a week or so, albeit the hair-pulling cum binging moments. The end of each sem brings realization of how productive I can be and also how ineffective I have been prior to entering uni.. only because of deadlines which cant be procasinated eventually.
On a random note (what's new?*), I went for the worshipcentral celebration (planetshakers + Tim Hughes) only to find that the keyboardist has changed :( but keyboardists are not my favourite, saxophonists are. When they play, it is as if they are immersed with the saxophone and the music as one. Charming. Not Kenny G pls, his hair spoils everything lol..
*what's new? If analyses are actually carried out on my convos, you'll realised that they are content which are incoherent, needing to be inferred, ma-chiam guessing/chasing games to know what I am referring. & I enjoyed it of course not all the time, not to be isunderstood, but doesn't beauty lies in the abstractness? i.e., rather than hearing ILY (look, I cringed to even type it in full), how about knowing this through the gaze? Now, having said this, some people will think it's cast in stone.. but no, exceptions are still happily accepted in rarity. Or perhaps it's a perfect excuse made up to spare the blushes
Anyway, recently I was asked 'Can snow cry?' and 'How do you make the snow smile?'. Literally speaking, I don't have an answer, not that anyone else will have. Besides, msn nicks aren't supposed to be one dimensional. They are thoughts that you want to share but not to be obvious. Those who understand will know.. Perhaps, no one would.. so be it. As I laid in bed yesterday thinking, some explanations would actually be good, here it is: You may never know when the snow is crying but surely you can make the snow smile? - You can make someone happy despite not knowing their sorrow. & a fav I like to share, soundless waterfall - tearing silently
I like the metaphors of rain, snow, ice, etc whatever that can relate to crying because there's the element of thoughtful reflection within a cold disposition.
Only a fine line exist between creativity and ambiguity.
it's okay if you can't see the road ahead, just make sure God is still in sight!!
In His time, in His time,
He makes all things beautful in His time.
Lord, please show me every day,
As You're teaching me Your way,
That You do just what You say, in Your time.
In Your time, in Your time,
You make all things beautiful in Your time.
Lord, my life to You I bring.
May each song I have to sing
Be to You a lovely thing, in Your time.
